The 2,314-square-foot home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a 2-car garage, 2-story foyer, white kitchen, wood- burning fireplace, refinished hardwoods, updated master bath, Pella windows, fenced backyard, patio and play structure.

The purchase: In May 2015, Wendt paid $481,000 for the home, or roughly $516,888 in today's dollars, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

The sale: According to Zillow, Wendt sold the home for $462,500 on May 15, or about $54,388 less than the original purchase price, in today's dollars.

Wendt listed the home in February for $475,000. 

The property taxes: Based on data compiled from Blockshopper.com and Zillow, Wendt paid $35,425 in property taxes between 2015 and 2017, or approximately 7.66 percent of the sale price.
