The 3,193-square-foot home has 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a 2-car garage, hardwoods, a great room with a fireplace, a powder room, maple cabinets, granite countertops, a finished lower level, a recreation room with a bar, an office with French doors and gorgeous professional landscaping.

The purchase: In September 2006, the Dwyers paid $613,000 for the home, or roughly $767,993 in today's dollars, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

The sale: According to Zillow, the Dwyers sold the home for $575,000 on April 25, or approximately $247,993 less than the original purchase price, in today's dollars.

The Dwyers originally listed the home in February for $525,000.

The property taxes: Based on data compiled from Blockshopper.com and Zillow, the Dwyers paid $116,199 in property taxes between 2006 and 2017, or 22.35 percent of the sale price.
