The 4,022-square-foot home has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, a walk-in pantry, a recreation room, a sunroom, hardwoods, vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, stainless appliances, a loft and  a pool.

The purchase: In May 2014, the Sislers paid $987,500 for the home, or roughly $1.04 million in today's dollars, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

The sale: According to Zillow, the Sislers sold the home for $787,500 on Feb. 1, or $261,748 less than the original purchase price, in today's dollars.

The Sislers originally listed the home for $949,000 in February 2018. They lowered the price in April and August 2018 to $899,000 and $849,900, respectively.

The property taxes: Based on data compiled from Blockshopper.com and Zillow, the Sislers paid $155,897 in property taxes between 2013 and 2017, or about 19.8 percent of the sale price.
