Jillian Bernas, (State Representative, 56th District)

Jillian lives in Schaumburg, where she was born and raised, and she is currently engaged to Angel Garcia. She is an international relations manager for a large medical association in Rolling Meadows, where she partners with doctors across the world to bring best practices and highest quality care to those who most need it.

Jillian serves as the Schaumburg Township District Library Trustee. She also serves on the Township Mental Health Committee, and as an ESL teacher at Church of the Holy Spirit.

Jillian studied education at Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame. She also received her Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. She spent six years teaching and working at the U.S. Embassy in Chile.
